It's hard to believe that you, who have ridden the continent of Africa on a motorcycle and goes ice fishing in northern Ontario, have never thrown a stone. Not ever? You probably have some kind of to-do list to put that on-like 101 things to do in 1000 days.
In our house, watching the Tournament of Hearts and the Brier were almost rituals. My husband would always watch, and frequently our kids if they were at home. I still make a point of watching if I'm home, and my son would watch if he had a tv, which he hasn't in a few years.
Why don't you write the song Canada has been waiting for? You could do it.
I am an assistant professor of political science at the University of Toronto. I am also crazy about motorcycles.

Never thrown a stone? Get thyself to a sheet! (you may have to leave the confines of San Diego for this)
