Rabble Babble or down with math
My roommate has suggested to me on occassion that Rabble.ca is, shall we say, a little out there. And it generally comes up in the context of some rant I have about some site on the right. But, for all the faults of, for example, Small Dead Animals, I could not ever imagine a post this inane appearing. This thing stretches the mind.

This is hilarious. Not only did young Ken Burch have trouble with algebra and geometry. Apparently he also slept his way through grade two spelling and grammar: "Topic: Are their any progressive uses for higher math?"!!??
Incidentally Peter, you are wrong. This does not stretch the mind. It shrinks it.
I'm convinced that the people initiating the discussion are just trolling. Don't get sucked in. Hilarious though.
It's a Monty Python skit, it is.
I just hope folks like Mr. Burch don't operate heavy machinery.
btw, read your profile and glad to see someone else grew up in North Bay.
This discussion is very typical of babble and Ken Burch is in fact one of the most prolific posters on that site.
anonymous, that sounds suspiciously like math. ``Typical.'' ``Most.'' I wish you would cut out your rightwing, reactionary rhetoric. Try and be more (damn, I did it again) progressive.
I am not sure on what planet Kate MacMillan is "fairly moderate." And I think you're judged by the company you keep.
But I think we'd agree that nothing on her site stretches the mind (or shrinks it) like this rabble discussion.
Shaidle's latest post about Obama is just beyond the pale.
Amazing, this really is stunning. Picture all of the reading through as well as composing you can perform... Chilly within the winter season although.
