Watching the interview is very satisfying. I miss both Frum and Trudeau. Why don't we get thoughtful political interviews that last 30 minutes anymore?
All those CBC/Mansbridge interviews are broken up into soundbites by commercials. They never go for followup questions.
Un homme d`exception, love him or hate him.
I only know of three or four Canadian politicians today who could hold forth like this in an interview today. And there is not a single interviewer who would be up to the task, except perhaps Rex Murphy. For shame.
